James W.

James started his career in the defense and infosec industry when he enlisted in the California Air National Guard training in encryption and cryptography. His unit was then activated with the United States Air Force and deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He deployed  for a second time during Operation Enduring Freedom.

Upon completion of his enlistment and obtaining his degree, James pursued his passion for information security within the defense contracting community. James worked with L3 Technologies, SRA, and General Dynamics Automated Information Systems advancing his  skills and certifications, and providing ingenuity to a variety of government agencies.

James intuitively knew the increasing pace of security threats required a focused, nimble security organization so he reunited with his friend and former L3 colleague as a CDT co-founder.

James holds a B.S. in Business Management and Administration with a concentration in International Business from the California State University, San Bernardino.

His technical certifications include: CEH, CNDA, CPT, CICP
